About this notice

This notice explains how Signavo uses personal data when you use this website and our services.

Signavo decides how and why this data is used, which makes us the data controller.

What we keep

We keep only what we need to provide and bill your services:

  • Account details: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, preferred language, and your password, stored in a form that cannot be read back.
  • Orders: the plan you chose, the service address, the start date you asked for and, if you want to keep a mobile number, that number and your current operator.
  • Services: your lines and connections, their number or address, start and end dates and the price you agreed.
  • Usage figures: monthly totals of data, minutes and texts used. The site does not store details of individual calls or sessions.
  • Bills: the lines, amounts, VAT and payment status of each bill.
  • Payment records: for each payment attempt, the amount, currency, result and the reference from our payment provider. We never receive or store card details.
  • Requests to change or cancel a service, and any note you add.
  • Messages from the contact form: your name, email, phone if given, topic and message.
  • Sign-in sessions and security records, such as when you signed in. Our servers briefly process your IP address to run the site and to limit abuse, such as repeated sign-in attempts.

When you check coverage, the postcode is used for the lookup and not stored.

Why we use it

  • To provide the services you order and run your account. This is necessary for our contract with you.
  • To bill you and keep accounting records. Tax and accounting law requires this.
  • To answer your messages, based on the consent you give in the contact form.
  • To keep the site and your account secure and prevent fraud. This is our legitimate interest.

We send service emails, such as order decisions, bills and reminders. We do not send marketing emails.

Who receives it

We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers that help us run the service, under agreements that limit what they may do with it:

  • Our payment provider, Trezuz, which processes card payments on its own secure page. It receives what it needs to take the payment, such as the bill reference and amount, and handles your card details under its own privacy notice.
  • Our email provider, which delivers the emails we send you.
  • Our hosting provider, which runs the servers and database this site uses.
  • Your current mobile operator, when you ask us to move your number.

We also share data when the law requires it, for example with tax authorities or in answer to a lawful request.

How long we keep it

  • Account details: while your account is open, and up to 12 months after your last service ends, unless an unpaid bill or a dispute needs them for longer.
  • Orders, services and change requests: while the service runs and up to 6 years after it ends, to deal with questions and claims.
  • Bills and payment records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Usage figures: 24 months.
  • Contact form messages: 2 years after the enquiry is closed.
  • Sign-in sessions: they end when you sign out or after 30 days without use.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • erase data we no longer need. We keep what the law requires, such as bills;
  • limit how we use your data, or object to a use based on our legitimate interest;
  • give you the data you provided in a format you can take elsewhere.

Write to us at support@signnavo.online or through the contact page. We reply within one month.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.

Keeping it safe

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. The sign-in cookie cannot be read by scripts on the page. Staff open personal details only when their work needs it, and each time is recorded.

Changes to this notice

We update this notice when the way we use data changes. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
